HAVE NOT COMPLETED THIS... WILL DO LATER!
This entry would be narrating on things happening from last Saturday to date…
Irdina and I went to AZ’s open house and here are some of the photos…
I really love to eat… ermmm… that’s the reason on these ‘spare tyres’… but somebody told me that I have ‘gone down’… meaning that I look slimmer than I used to be… ermmm… (side tracking a bit)…
After AZ’s house, I thought of going to Kak Shimah (Wa Ham)’s place, Mi Dawi’s Usu Masni’s and Usu Rani’s… But I managed to go to only Usu Rani’s house as all the other houses looked like they were not at home… Usu Rani was not home actually (he’s in Btu), I was ushered in by the wife and the 2 daughters, plus one grandson.
Coming home near maghrib and Irdina with lots of red spots of mosquito bites on her body, we remained at home until the next morning watching TV and then sleep…

Irdina's so called ang pau...
Irdina went to a wedding ceremony this morning and followed by a 'rumah terbuka' at AZ's... she gathered RM20 worth of duit raya... waaa not bad uh gurl...
She has collected lots this raya, one of the reason being 'anak bungas'... its a superstition actually... if you wanna hold a firstborn baby, you will have to give present in return... this one i like... wakakakaka... i dont want to know why, cos there must be a reason (mostly bad one) for this belief. Giving presents/money could be treated as just courtesy, but spraying perfume to the firstborn entering your house for the first time is pure superstition! I hate coming back home with Irdina's dress locked with different smell at every other part of it... ergghhhh...
but whatever... some people just wont change...

Cried again...
Irdina cried again last night... I couldn't figure out why but she'll stop crying if i caress her back... so, i keep my hand on her back until she fall asleep again. She had stomach discomfort (again) i guessed... ermmm... is it because of the milk? she has been taking the milk since before raya... and the symptoms only appeared 2 days ago... or is it because of the teething process? I really hope that this stomach ache / bloating thing will soon subside... i couldn't stand it when she's in pain... she'll become more cranky and needs 24hrs attention (she'll cry nearly all the time i tried to get away for a while to do things)... not that i couldn't stand to be near her everytime... i just couldn't stand seeing her suffer, feel like changing place for a while, let the pain be mine and she be healthy and happy. Kasihannya tengok anak mama :((
Found something in the internet:
What are the symptoms of teething?
The symptoms of teething vary from child to child. Because of these different experiences, parents and physicians often disagree as to the symptoms of teething and how painful it is. The list below shows symptoms that a teething baby may experience. While most parents usually agree that some or all of the symptoms below happened around the time of teething, it is still recommended that if your baby experiences any of these symptoms you check with your pediatrician to rule out other possible causes for the symptoms.
Irritability: As the sharp little tooth rises closer to the surface your baby’s gums may become increasingly more sore and painful, leading to your baby being very fussy. The pain and discomfort is most often worse during the first teeth coming in and later when the molars come in because of their bigger size. This is most often the case since babies become accustomed to the sensations of teething and learn to live with them. But you may find your baby may be fussy during the whole time that every tooth comes in. Every child reacts differently. <--- Symptom 1
Drooling: From three to four months of age you may see your baby start drooling more often than normal. Teething stimulates drooling, which is often worse with some babies than others.
Coughing: The extra saliva can cause your baby to occasionally cough or gag. This is usually nothing to worry about as long as your baby seems fine and shows no signs of a cold or flu and does not run a high fever. <--- Symptom 2
Chin rash: If your baby is a big drooler, the constant contact with saliva can cause the skin around the chin and mouth to become irritated. To help prevent this, gently wipe your baby’s mouth and chin periodically throughout the day.
Biting & gnawing: A baby that is teething will gnaw and gum down on anything she or he can get their mouth around. The counter pressure from biting on something helps relieve the pressure from under the gums. <--- Symptom 3
Cheek rubbing and ear pulling: Pain in the gums may travel to the ears and cheeks particularly when the back molars begin coming in. This is why you may see your baby rubbing their cheeks or pulling at their ears. However, keep in mind that pulling at an ear can also be a sign of an ear infection.
Diarrhea: While this is a symptom that is disagreed upon by physicians, researchers and parents, most parents usually notice slightly looser bowel movements when a baby is teething. While the recent study done by the Children’s Hospital in Australia found this to be the most common symptom of teething, there are still many people that will agree and disagree with this recent study. It is believed that the most likely cause of this is the extra saliva swallowed, which then loosens the stool. Be sure and report any diarrhea to your doctor that lasts more than two bowel movements.
Low-grade fever: A fever is another symptom that doctors are sometimes hesitant to directly link with teething. But there are many parents who will disagree with this and find their baby gets a slight fever while teething. The best thing to do is be extra safe and notify your doctor if a fever last more than two days.
Not sleeping well: With teething pain happening during the day and night, you may find your child wakes more often at night when the pain gets bad enough. Most parents agree that the night waking happens more often during the first set of teeth and with the molars. <--- Symptom 4
Cold like symptoms (runny nose, etc.): Some parents find that their baby will show signs of having a cold. Runny noses, coughing and general cold symptoms are believed to come from the baby having their hands in their mouth more often. Play it safe and always notify your doctor if symptoms such as this occur. <--- Symptom 5
She has some of these symptoms... but what about stomach bloating?
Found another one:
Teething is a phase all infants experience, usually lasting from the age of six months to three years. Some children are just mildly bothered by the appearance of their first teeth, or milk teeth, while others cry a lot, are unable to fall asleep, wake frequently and are generally cranky. The gums are red and sore, drooling is typical and the fingers are repeatedly put into the mouth. It is not uncommon for teething to be compounded by *fever, *stomach upsets and *diarrhea.

Irdina cried...
Irdina did not sleep well last night... She cried and cried (loud and non-stop) due to stomach discomfort... and what did i do while she's crying? I cried along... sob sob... She only stopped at around 2am after 3 intermittent sessions (around 15 to 30 minutes each) of crying... Woke up again at around 5am, crying again but this time wanting "nennen"... At times like this, i feel like quitting and join Sepu in KL...
This morning, her eyes were swolen because of the crying... and mama's heart cried again looking at her sad little face... she was still asleep when i carried her to the car just now... and she just kept quiet... mama's baby, sorry for not knowing what to do... and sorry to ever let you feel such pain :((
I pity Irdina a lot... she has to adapt herself to so many situations, situations that could even make an adult confused... most of the time she's with mama, and ofcourse with the BS' family... sometimes her babah would be there for her... and once in a blue moon, she'll get to see her atuk and nenek and ami and bucu, and even her Tok Inah... but she has a strength that i admire, which really helps her to accustome herself to situations fast... she's very friendly and very accepting! mmuahhh mmuahhh Irdina... I love you baby... be strong okay?
Please ya Allah... let us be together as a family soon... please... i couldn't pursuade my heart and mind to accept this loneliness anymore... loneliness in the sense of facing these kind of situations alone, not knowing of what to act or do, crying along with Irdina while asking her to stop her cries... please ya Allah... please give to Irdina good health, please give to her strength to face every ups and downs throughout...

Open house at Aunty Waty's house on Saturday, 11/10/2008
Had an open house invitation yesterday... we went there with auntie Shairel and Humairah... Lots of people attended the occasion and we met few people, and surprisingly some of our neighbours in Kuching [same Kampungla]... some we have not met before while for one family, we met them at Miri airport on our back to Kuching before Hari Raya, baby Anina and parents...
Here are some photos of Anina (7M), Humairah (9M 5D) and Irdina (9M 1D)... look at baby Anina... she's not only bigger than the other 2 sisters, but she's more active... i mean, really active... adorable!
Mama took 15 minutes to get Irdina ready... especially the hair...

Irdina's hairdo BEFORE the open house...

Irdina's hairdo AFTER the open house, sorry no photo to show the missing hairclips...

Funny things again?
I dont remember whether i have written about this incident or not. This happened during Ramadhan. Irdina's BS asked me when did i pumped a batch of milk. I didn't hear clearly at the beginning so i answered, early in the morning during sahur. She said if that's the case its ok but i should not pump milk during the day when fasting as the stored milk (in the breast) has gone stale (bad)... i was like erkkkkk... luckily i answered no or she would have thrown the 'bad' milk (my assumption - bad me eh...)

So called gotong royong before raya...
Trapped in the lift...
I was trapped in the lift this morning, while on the way back from Phil's office. Luckily it didn't last that long as i was really dumbfounded when the lights turned off and the lift trembled... ohhh gosh... this is my second 'trapped in a lift' experience, and i was alone some more.... wooooooo....

SELAMAT HARI RAYA
I hope that it is not to late to wish Selamat Hari Raya & Maaf Zahir Batin to everybody...
Raya celebration in Kuching was a great one... 1st raya for Irdina, Sepu n I as a family...

I am not used to bring a baby visiting houses, but last week was a good training. Hopefully next year would be better as Irdina would be walking on her own inshaAllah, and will start to 'help' maintaining the dishes on the table... wooowww... she really could not keep still... she likes to stand up (goyang goyangla tapi)... she'll crawl all over the place, helping nenek to clean the floor (hidden meaning)... but i know that everybody loves to be near her... she's so talkative and so likes all the attentions.

She's nearing her 9th Month and yet she could pronounce some words perfectly...Some of her words that i could recall...
Mama - of course me laa...
Babah - Shared between her own babah and her atuk
Nenek - my mum
Amey - her uncle (Ami Aedun - Ami means uncle), my brother...
Dedek - my sis, she should have called her Bucu, but called her Dedek instead as all of us called her by the name
Nennen - milk or her pacifier...
Ngegeh - ahahaha this one will be mentioned when she's irritated with somebody (including me)... Sarawak word for annoying (so called).
Mammam - food (used to be her word to describe sleep)
Na nak - Dont Want
Addoh - In pain (aduh la tu!!!)

Babah Irdina only spent till Sunday 5/10 with us... sob sob...

So sad when it comes to 'separating' at the airport... Irdina was like "yucks yucks" and cried when her father kissed her so many times...

Last night inside the flight from Kuching to Miri was fun... Irdina played all the way eventhough her eyes were red beacuse of sleepiness... she likes to watch the lights outside during ascend and descend... she'll go "ahhh... wahhh"... She kissed me (full with saliva though) and wanted to gnaw my cheek with her gum (no teeth yet)... muuahhh :*
We reached home at around 9.30 and she started to get cranky. She kept looking around (looking for her nenek and atuk and ami and bucu i guess)... and now she's alone again with mama... she looked sad when she woke up this morning... i sent her to the baby sitter (half heartedly as i have spent a whole week with her), and she was confused to see her Momok again... Pity Irdina... she has to adapt herself to too many home environment(s)... Miri home, Momok's (babysitter) Home, KL (Babah) Home, Kuching (atuk nenek) Home... ermmm... hope that my tansfer to KL would materialise soon so that she will have a whole family home... would be even lovelier to have a home with mama and babah and atuk and nenek and ami and bucu around, eyyy Irdina?

I hope tonight would be better... Need to go home and do some milk expressing now ;)
