Another landslide in Miri, just happened, today, this afternoon... This would be one of the 1st news (if u can call this brief entry a news) about the landslide.

The 1st one happened 2 weeks ago, i.e. 14/01/2009... where 2 indonesian workers were buried alive in the tragedy... for more info, you can googled on Miri Landslide...

Banjero... Kampung kita naik air...

Flood in Kuching has always been bad... I could still remember the big flood in 2004... That was the only time i am around to witness the flood and the aftermath with my own two eyes... Pity abah and mama... have to face this flood without all the children by their side... me and Dedek in Miri while Aedun is in Melaka... Luckily Aedun's friends were there to help them to lift heavy things...

I have not the time to elaborate now... Though I've been doing this a lot lately (posting links of other's), but if you really want to know how the flood affected Kuching City... you may click here or here.

Palestine... U'd find peace ONE DAY...

My heart breaks looking at these photos... especially the first =(

Actually, i dont really take note whether these are palestinian children or they are israelis children... the fact that these are children, not the armies was the reason for this pain in the chest...

I got this from here:
The "Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)" on Sunday released the pictures of some of Hamas’ most wanted “terrorists” it said it has killed since the start of the Israeli onslaught in the Gaza Strip more two weeks ago.

An Israeli spokesman told foreign reporters in Jerusalem that the world community, especially Americans and Europeans, shouldn’t be deceived by the ostensibly young age of the killed terrorists.

“They may look young to you and me. But these people are terrorists at heart. Don’t look at their deceptively innocent faces, try to think of the demons inside each of them.”

The spokesman, Nachman Abramovic, said he was “absolutely certain” that these people would grow to be “evil terrorists if we allowed them to grow.”

“If you were in our shoes, would you allow them to grow to kill your children or finish them off right now”?

Asked if he was worried about possible criticisms from the international community, Abramovic said he was not worried a bit because “We are only defending ourselves.”

“Would you apologize for defending yourself if another person attacked you without any provocation,” the Israeli spokesman asked an American reporter.

Impressed by the answer, the American reporter said “You are right, Sir, absolutely.”

The IDF spokesman added that Israel didn’t really target civilians in Gaza and that the world should fall into trap of Hamas's propaganda.

“I challenge serious news media to prove that we have killed a single innocent civilian in Gaza .

“Don’t tell me Aljazeera said this or CNN said that. You know all these people are anti-Semites and can’t be relied upon to tell the truth.”

He added that in any case, honest and moral people ought to differentiate between “true human beings” and “human animals.”

“We do kill human animals, and we do so unapologetically. Besides who in the West is in a position to lecture us on killing human animals. After all, whose hands are cleaned?”

Another Israeli spokesman, Tzipora Menache, said she was not immensely worried about negative ramifications that Operation Cast Lead might have on the way the Obama administration would view Israel .

“You know very well, and the stupid Americans know equally well, that we control their government, irrespective of who sits in the White House.”

“You see, I know it and you know it that no American president can be in a position to challenge us even if we do the unthinkable.”

Asked if she was not worried that her remarks would cause a public relations disaster, Menache said “what can they do to us. We control congress, we control the media, we control show biz, we control everything in America.

“In America you can criticize G-d, but you can’t criticize Israel .”

Now, after this imaginary but very realistic introduction, we shall view the pictures of these “evil terrorists.”

You may say what you want, do what you want, based on who you are... You'd definitely say something contradicting each other (as if nobody would have guessed)... but please leave your children out of this hatred? Please...

Separation Anxiety

All this while, I was the one having this anxiety... Irdina never minded being left anywhere before as she is very friendly with people... she would be the first to start a conversation, be it with another baby or an adult... but TODAY, Irdina started to show her anxiety when i was about to leave the room (at her BS home during lunch time visiting)... wooo, dah besar baby mama ye? Maybe this is the milestone where she'd start to understand reasons... cause and effect...

My prayer for you...

For all Palestinian children... my love and prayer for you lil darlings... be brave... i am so helpless as i could only cry seeing you suffer the way they made you... i will do something... please Allah, give me more, so that i could give more...

The reason for this entry - received an email with lots of pictures of the war in Gaza... i cried my heart out...

Sleepyhead!

This sleepyhead feels like sleeping while doing her work... but she thought better of it and made up her mind to write this entry a few seconds ago...

wupppsss... had to stop for a while... chatting with Abg Y via office communicator, about PFP (work)...

What should i write now? I remember asking this same question yesterday, while updating the previous blog... ermmmm...

ok... I read one blog this morning, about a Malaysian Malay girl who lives oversea... she has an x-bf who is a mat-salleh i presumed from the way she described about him. She has an interesting and very open social life but i cant help myself from thinking... ohhh pleaseee dont get me wrong... i read blogs with the intention of having fun by just reading, and sometimes getting new knowledge from these blogs... but this girl's blog makes me wonder about how people with the same origin and heritage does not feel the same about some values... ermmm... i regret the fact that she has lost her trust in her religion, plus saying something bad about Muhammad SAW... but i know, that's her choice...

Reading her blog makes me think about my own life... interesting or not ones life is depends on the individual, so subjective that nobody actually could evaluate other's life as interesting or vise versa... I dont want to be like her, nor would i prefer loving life like her... i love my own life, the way i live it... Ya Allah... please guide me... always!!! Never let me fall, for something less than your blessings.

Wowww... felt like i've written something too heavy for my sleepyhead to digest, so... what about talking about our xUKMS Reunion this June...

My First 2009 Post... about what?

I thought of writing the post now, as i am really sleepy and could not concentrate on work... but Cik Wan called me asking about his 2 POs... so, will try to find something to talk about in a while...

Update:

A-hah... not even 5 minutes past from the last dot above... and i have got nothing to write about actually...

Maybe i'd just wish everybody a Happy New Year ahead... may this 2009 brings us more happiness and Allah's blessings... May 2009 be sheltered from all bad things... May 2009 mark a new beginning to my being a wife everyday, instead of just monthly or once every fortnight wife... aminnn... when? in 2009 most probably, the actual date, nahhh i'm still in the dark... please bosses, make up your mind fast!!!

Shuk will be coming back from Haj next week... there will be less 'playing around' and more works coming my way soon... i had to admit that these 5 weeks have been too leisure to my liking... i became so lazy today that i am lacking discipline, can't concentrate even a minute on my work...... goshhh... Please let this slothfulness gooooo... go away shuhhh shuhhh...

okehhhh... yesterday... what happened yesterday? After more than a week in Miri, Sepu flew back to KL last night... despite having his flight delayed, he managed to reach Puncak Jalil at about 1.30am... ermmm... i replied to his sms at 2.30 something after putting Irdina back to sleep. what else? ermmm... thinking and thinking... nothing really happened last week, except that i really enjoyed my husband's longer than usual company... plus irdina and emejay's presence, the house felt like home sweet home...

i spent most of my time at the office last week doing POs and SEs... plus some (more) blogs hopping... kind of like reading people's blog lately... leasure reading... not those heavy stuff... just reading what people write about their life, their babies, their hobbies... their monies... and everything... and last week at the office was fun for the sake of that... but i wished i was at home though... as there were not many living things working at the office since mid December...
