Today, I am wearing high-heeled sandal for the first time after a year… Luckily, I preserved my pre-pregnancy shoes and sandals well enough that they still look as good…
Irdina is today 3 months and 12 days old… and she’s becoming more mobile. She turned herself last Thursday (17/04) while I was busy taking all her things in from the car… I was really surprised to see her ‘turned-turtle’ on the floor…

We went to see Dr. Cheah at about 7pm last night, complaining about Irdina’s blocked nose. She gave Irdina some medicine to clear the blockage. Alhamdulillah… So, last night was the first night after 2 weeks I slept like a baby (as if)… Irdina slept at around 9.30pm, woke up at 3am to breastfeed, slept again and woke up with a smile at 6.30am… She’s more cheerful now that she can breathe without difficulty, and she’s able to feed while I’m sitting down. All this while, she nursed while mama’s standing up… building muscle to mama’s arms, eh baby?
Irdina’s babah will be coming home tomorrow night. This weekend would be a hectic one, as my parents will also be coming from Kuching. Mama has never been so eager coming here… Irdina is soo lucky then…
I am not so busy as yesterday… my STC contract will expire 01/05/2008, and the new Regular Contract will take place the next day. I have not received anything from HR, but whatever it is, I have to come to work this Friday.
I thought of doing my ‘mama’s work’ at the pantry, but I have heard about a planned fire drill this morning. It would be a mess should the drill starts while I am still pumping.

3 days ago my husband complained that I spent too much time with the baby, and have forgotten about lots of things, such as this blog. He also mentioned that he would read my blog whenever he misses me… but it has been more than a month since the last entry. Pity him. But more, pity me. How could I tell everybody that I am really exhausted? Not everybody could or would want to take care of a baby by herself, without anybody to relieve her when she goes to the toilet, or when she feels like she needs to take a nap. I sleep when the baby sleeps (after doing all the chores needed doing, take bath, call hubby, call mama and bla bla bla), and certainly will have to stay awake when she’s awake. I really do not have time to do blogs… here at work, I need to work, and frankly, I was quite busy last few weeks. I am not the kind that could sleep happily while leaving the baby playing alone… I have been waiting so long for Irdina… and I will treasure every second of the time I spend with her.
Eveytime Sepu comes back from KL, I will need to take care of two babies, and the chores would surely be doubled. But again, I love being with the two persons (out of seven) that I love the most. I do not want to complain… and still I am not complaining… I have nothing to complain actually. I still could have my sleep, and go to work, and have my salary at the end of the month… what I should complain is the pressure I have at work right now… ermmm… it’s a human factor actually… And sure, the stress is building up.
Sayang… sorry if you are feeling neglected. Give me time to adjust with this multiplication of responsibility. I have lots of things in my plate right now, and I have to get used to this situation fast… please be patient. I am getting good at what I am doing and I am sure that I will get better.
